Praise gives you a perspective adjustment and helps you to filter things through the lens of faith, with the sure knowledge that I will accomplish My good purposes in all things (Isaiah 46:10). No matter what the situation, you can have faith that I am always with you. Even if you walk through the darkest of valleys, I will be with you (Psalm 23:4).
Praising Me is not looking through rose-colored glasses. It’s proclaiming your trust in Me and My sovereignty. It’s choosing to adopt a perspective of faith and gratitude. So when your heart is burdened with worries, problems‚ or stress, come to Me and enter into My presence with thanksgiving and praise (Psalm 100:4). Make room for My joy to fill your heart and renew your courage and strength. Praise and worship bring joy, and My joy will be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
A praise perspective can turn a difficult day into a positive one, as you choose to set your thoughts on the many good, true, lovely, excellent, and praiseworthy things that surround your life (Philippians 4:8). Choose to think on these things, and My joy will give you the strength to rise above the challenges and struggles of everyday life. Praise lifts your spirit into My presence. It gives you a better outlook and true perspective on issues—a perspective imbued with faith and the knowledge that all things will truly work together for good for those who love Me (Romans 8:28).
